Researches

Dr. Yujie Qiang is an associate professor at the University of Science and Technology Beijing and visiting professor in National University of Singapore. He is primarily engaged in research on green functional corrosion inhibitors, corrosion-inhibiting additives for battery electrolytes, and functional anti-corrosion coatings. At the age of 32, selected as a "Highly Cited Researcher" by Clarivate. Starting at age 28, consecutively listed for five years in Stanford University's "World's Top 2% Scientists" annual impact rankings, with the latest ranking placing within the top 0.5% globally in the field of Chemical Physics. He was also selected as the new scientist of the Year by Scientific Chinese magazine (2022). He has published more than 100 SCI papers (total citation of more than 10000 with H-index of 50 and the highest citation of a single paper was 703 times, 20 ESI highly cited papers (The No.1 in corrosion field in the world), and 4 ESI hot papers). He served as guest editors, editorial board members and young editorial board members of more than 10 international journals such as Energy & Environmental Materials (IF: 13.0)、Nano Materials Science (IF: 12.6)、Rare Metals (IF: 9.6) etc. He contributed 4 book chapters, and 15 patents. He has more than 10 international/national conference presentations and invited talks/seminars.

He has been awarded the Young Talent Promotion Project of China Association for Science and Technology, the Young Talent Promotion Project of Beijing Association for Science and Technology, the Publishing Project of Young Scientists in Advanced Materials, the International Young Talent Fund of Zhijiang Laboratory. He has won the Science and Technology Award from Chinese Corrosion and Protection Society and Chinese Surface Engineering Technology Association, the "Top 100 Most Influential International Academic Papers of China" (2021), Beijing Youth Excellent Scientific Paper Award, JMST Outstanding Paper Grand Prize, Adamas Academic Paper Excellence Award, and Chongqing Outstanding Doctoral Dissertation.
